T-MOTOR Propellers for Multicopters and UAVs


T-MOTOR is specializing in Motors, ESCs (Electronic Speed Controller) and Propellers, widely used for aerial photography, industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications. This repository contains specifications on the T-Motor propellers, divided into several series by the type of vehicles: Multirotor, Fixed Wing, FPV.

 

Multirotor props


The various multirotor propeller series are described as follows:

  1. Carbon fiber propellers (FA, G, NS, F, V);
  2. Polymer propellers (MF, MS).

 

FA type - Folding


FA propellers, made of carbon-epoxy composite are convenient for storage and transportation. A special design of a winglet is employed to weaken the vortex and improve efficiency. Precise positioning avoids sweepback while the props are working. These props are compatible with standard and “-T” foldable props.

G type - Glossy


G-type propellers are made of carbon-epoxy composite and designed in 2-blade and 3-blade variants to provide high efficiency for various demands. Propellers that are marked with “4PCS” are made of separate 2 blades. 3-blade propellers provide more thrust, high efficiency and stability. The big thread diameter and small pitch in a self-locking structure improve self-tightening performance of these props.


 


NS type - Ultra light


NS propellers have a special aerodynamic design with wingtips for less vortex and a higher lift-drag ratio. NS props are the 3rd generation propellers for 30%+ reduction in weight, a lower moment of inertia, less motor vibration and longer flight time.


In comparison with P series propellers flight time with NS props increased by 2%-10%. The overall efficiency and max thrust of NS series increased by 3-7% and 3-6%.


NS props have a reduced weight of 23-54%. A prop cover plate is lighter by 10%, and carbon cloth material T800 has higher static strength by 16% and fatigue strength by 22%.

 

P type - Polish


Polish propellers are made of carbon-epoxy composite and provide increased load ability.

 

V type – VTOL


V-type propellers are made of polymer and carbon fiber elements and specially designed for VTOL airplanes which require more thrust than the comparable multi-rotor copters. With a bigger pitch and an optimized blade shape, the overall efficiency and max thrust of the V type increase by 2% and 10% respectively in contrast with propellers for multi-rotor copters. These propellers have enhanced blade roots for safe flight.


MF type - Multi Folding


MF propellers are made of polymer materials and have low weight and low moment of inertia. To protect the propellers from ultraviolet rays, a heat-insulating coating with a high degree of shading is applied to the surface. The heat-resistant material ensures a long flight at high temperatures. Propellers marked with “L” are for the CW thread, with the letter “R” for the CCW thread (aerial view).


MS type – Multi Straight


The propeller design is based on the high-efficiency airfoil and fits the multi-rotors applications. The thinnest part is 0.25mm with an arc design to raise the lift-drag ratio. MS series propellers are made from polymer plus carbon fiber materials with heat insulation coating on the surface for steady operation for a long time. Props have low vibration in operation. Propellers can perform under high temperatures (60°C) and humidity (65%).


Fixed-wing props


Fixed-wing propeller series is represented by several types, categorized by the propeller material.

 

Plastic fixed-wing


Available in various colors, plastic fixed-wing props are made for excellent balance, little vibration, and delicate sound.

 

Polymer straight


These propellers are suitable for RC and VTOL planes and are made from a mix of PC and glass blade material. Silent blade designed for interference-free flight.

 

Polymer folding (TF)


TF – are carbon fiber/polymer folding propellers that feature high strength and light weight. Suitable for UAVs and gliders.

To protect the propellers from ultraviolet rays, a heat-insulating coating with a high degree of shading is applied to the surface. The heat-resistant material ensures a long flight at high temperatures.

 

Carbon fiber fixed-wing props


Propellers are made from high-quality fiber materials to reach small vibration, delicate throttle and fast response. Props combine light weight and strength.

 

FPV props


Specially designed for freestyle racing for those who like to fly with a Juicy/Sbang style. These props have been designed to provide an extra grip on the quad. The combination of the Pacer series motors with these props allows to reach the maximum performance for freestyle.
